Stop wasting time on a failed project and focus on performance, database, code quality, class based functions, developer support. You should be the one acquiring ACF instead of bitching on twitter.

Yes, i am fan of the block editor. But we have tens of classic sites with lot's of customization and templates; we need to stick on the Classic Version. Mainly because they hardly change anything on their sites, so why should i propose an estimate on changing the site to the block editor. That's is unlogical in the eyes of the customer.

Please don't ever discontinue classic editor capability. Gutenberg is great for experienced users with the tech savvy to use a page builder system but so many of our clients require a very structured system with only the fields we've designed for them to edit. We use ACF and provide a very structured system that's intuitive and easy for them to use and for us being able to disable Gutenberg and setup our own system with ACF is critical.

Classic Editor : hopefully we have this, it is so essential that it should not be a plugin, but directly part of Wordpress. If you need one single plugin, it should be this one.
